By Dr’s Alex and Georgina Perdomo who will be conducting three classes at this year’s MIA Boot Camp
Some of you have said: “So what if your Y-DNA results do not come as part of the Twelve Tribes of Israel? Then there will be the haves and the have nots”
Praise YHVH that Ruth the Moabite and Dr. Lucas did not think this way!
It appears from Scripture that neither one was a physical descendant of the 12 tribes of Israel, but that did not stop them from doing the work that the Lord had assigned for them with the Israelites. They sought the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and became an adopted sister and brother of Israel. YHVH rewarded them, Ruth the Moabite (Ruth 1:4) became the great great great grandmother of King David (Ruth 4:13-22), and hence a grandma of Yeshua of Nazareth, the Savior of the world… In the New testament we find Lucas, the gentile doctor, who was from Antioch and just like Ruth embraces YHVH and His Son Messiah Yeshua and is rewarded with the privilege of writing the Book of Acts of the Apostles and The Gospel of Luke, whose message will bring light and understanding to the world.
The Gospel of Luke is written by a gentile uncircumcised that was not a physical descendant of Israel as far as Paul’s knowledge went. In Colossians 4:11, Luke is not included as parts of Paul’s two companions that are of the circumcision, that is that are Jews. Three verses down in v.14 Paul simply refers to him as Luke the beloved physician.
Colossians 4:14 Luke the beloved physician and Demas greet you.
Eusebius and Jerome identified Luke as a native of Antioch, Syria…The Lord gives the privilege to this gentile doctor from Antioch to be indwelled by His Holy Spirit and become a writer of the New Testament.
2 Peter 1:21 for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.
So, the Lord will undoubtedly make more “have nots” like Ruth and Luke to accomplish His divine plan. For it is not as much the ethnicity, but it is the faith that is defined by the character of the man that He created that counts in front of Him.
And Then Come The Companions…
Ezekiel 37:16: You, son of man, take one stick, and write on it, For Yehudah, and for the children of Yisra’el his companions: then take another stick, and write on it, For Yosef, the stick of Efrayim, and [for] all the house of Yisra’el his companions:
Abba Father tells us through Ezekiel that the two sticks are Judah and his companions as well as Ephraim and his companions.
Who are the companions?
YHVH tells us that the House of Yisrael is the companions, which are the twelve tribes and all those who trust in Yeshua (Hebrews 11:11-24)…Now that could mean two things, since the House of Yisrael is one, but formed by two groups:
1) The physical descendants of Jacob who trust or will trust in Yeshua.
2) The spiritual descendants of Abraham, Isaac & Jacob whom YHVH called through His Son the Messiah Yeshua. (Galatians 3:16)
The two groups are not different and have the same standing in front of YHVH.
We read that even at the millennium there should be no difference between them, since they will inherit with the tribe that they are sojourning with at that time.
Ezekiel 47: 21-23
21 So shall you divide this land to you according to the tribes of Yisra’el. 22 It shall happen, that you shall divide it by lot for an inheritance to you and to the strangers who sojourn among you, who shall father children among you; and they shall be to you as the home-born among the children of Yisra’el; they shall have inheritance with you among the tribes of Yisra’el. 23 It shall happen, that in what tribe the stranger sojourns, there shall you give him his inheritance, says the Lord GOD.
So, in the Etz Yoseph project we decided to divide the tribes with the name of the specific tribe plus the word companion next to it. Because for now, we do not know to which of the two companions we are referring to: The physical or the spiritual… or both.
What is clear is that through the blessings given in the Bible and manifested in our lives we can determined to which tribe the Lord has called us to belong. And we should be able to confirm them by DNA testing. When we study the Y-chromosome Phylogenetic tree, geneticists tells us that there are 7 branches and subgroups that are found among the Jews that are alive today. Most of you in the Etz Yoseph project fall into one of these branches (J, I, E1b1b, G, T, Q and R1a1 & R1b1a)…pretty amazing that most of the people that have been awaken from their slumber into their Hebraic roots today are found in one of these 7 groups.
When you go to the www.etzyoseph.org and click on the top menu: Y- DNA results, you will see that we have four different groups:
1) Ephraim Companions – Joshua (Book of Joshua); Deborah (Judges 4-5).
2) Levi Companions – Moshe, Aaron & Miriam (Exodus-Deuteronomy). Barnabas (Acts 4:36; 9:27; 11:22-15:39).
3) Manasseh companions – Gideon (Judges 6-8); Milkah and her four sisters of the tribe of Manasseh that inherit the land among the sons (Joshua 17).
We just added Manasseh, for we need at least three witnesses of the biblical blessings in their lives to attempt to group the participants, and we have three of them now. The rest that are ungrouped we ask for patience, as we find more members in your haplogroup we hope to be able to classify it. All classifications are subject to change as we find further evidence of the DNA of the tribes of Israel.
Studying the characters in the Bible of the representatives of the above three tribes like Moshe, Miriam, Barnabas, Joshua, Deborah and Gideon help us to identify the blessings present in our lives…so read your bibles.
I am still in awe to see what the Lord did in the life of one of the Levites that believed in Yeshua as His Lord and Savior, his name is Barnabas and his nickname then becomes: “the encourager” The Lord puts the Benjamite Saul of Tarsus, Paul, under his wing to introduce him to the apostles and encouraged Paul in the road of evangelism to the gentiles ahead of them (Acts Chapters 9-15).
“DNA and the Hebraic Roots of Biblical Christianity”
1. Genetic Memory and the Awakening of Christianity into the Twelve Tribes of Israel.
2. DNA Testing of the Descendants of Jacob and his Companions at End Times.
3. The Y-Chromosome that Survived Noah’s flood.
On June 28-July 4, 2011, we will be discussing the above topics at The Messianic Alliance 12th conference, also named Boot Camp two at Maryville TN…We hope to see you all there, ready with your questions. Additionally those that have done the Y-DNA test and know their Y chromosome haplogroup are encouraged to share their results.
Family tree DNA laboratories are offering a special for the Y-DNA 37 test for the attendees of the MIA conference. The regular price that FTDNA charges to have this test done is $169.00. If you go through Etz Yoseph they decrease the price to $149.00, but at the MIA conference the cost will be $129.00 if you buy your Y-DNA 37 kit from June 28-July 4. Coupons will be distributed to those that want to have the test done during the three lectures that have been assigned to us.
The CEO of FTDNA, Dr Bennet Greespan, will also offer a special on the “Deep Clade test”, which regularly is $89.00 for $79.00, for those that already had done the Y-DNA 37 predicted haplogroup, to confirm it with the SNP’s of the deep clade.
Disclaimer: The Etz Yoseph project, Alex C. Perdomo and Georgina Chan Perdomo do not receive any financial remuneration from Family Tree DNA, nor from Messianic Israel Alliance. We do this work, because we believe that the twelve Tribes of Israel will be identified by the blessings given in the Bible that is by faith, and then will be confirmed by DNA test.
We are going to Israel for Shavuot in June 2011 and request your prayers that the Lord will guide us to the representatives from the tribes of Dan, the Ethiopian Jews, and from Be’nei Manasseh from India, from whom we hope to obtain the DNA samples… We hope to see you all at the Maryville conference when we return so we can talk more about DNA and the Twelve Tribes of Israel.
